Eye Candy
Eye Candy was born from my desire to create paintings that make viewers’ mouths water, art that radiates pure joy. Each piece is carefully constructed from dozens of individually crafted acrylic elements, assembled into vibrant compositions that celebrate color, texture, and playful indulgence.
The process begins with the creation of dozens, and in some cases, hundreds of distinct “paint-objects.” Using a combination of high-viscosity acrylics, industrial adhesives, and structural supports such as tongue depressors, I build up layers of pure pigment that have their own structural integrity, defined by visceral weight and rhythmic depth.
By moving beyond the two-dimensional plane, the work asserts itself as a physical object, one that invites the viewer to experience color not just as light, but as a tangible, indulgent material.
